The same for me but...
I had fences 3 working from my "D" drive (d:\prg files(x86)\stardock\fences). Worked perfect all the time. Made a snapschot - Ran purge_fences.bat as admin - Rebooted - Installed fences 4 from within Object Desktop (wich was hardcoded for the "C" drive - Rebooted - Went to configure fences and took the snapshot as was made in version 3 and... all was ok. But the fences directory with all files on "D" was still there. Fences 4 is working
Strangely...In Object Desktop Manger, Fences 3 'configure' says version 3.98. and asks for the product key!! And Fences 4 always say Update 3.98 to 4.00.03 But in the configuration window of the working Fences it says version it is already version 4.0.0.3 !!
Strange, very strange as if Purge_Fences.bat did not check the windows registry for the correct location of the obsolete fences.
So..can I delete that obsolete fences directory on "D:" and how can I get rid of the obsolete entry in Object Desktop Manager and stop the update for an already up-to date version.
Thanks and Regards
