am having a problem with this also, however it is on ALL of my skins, and it only seems to be with the programs that load on startup. Without fail my Yahoo, MSN, Logitech Tray, Firewall, and Windowsblinds icons are not there, I can hover over the Windowsblind Icon (which I cannot see) and get options, but the other two are not there at all. However, if I end the process, or in the case of Windowblinds, unload and reload it, then when the programs start back up I can usually see the icon fine. |
Is it only with windowblinds that you have no sys tray or with other applications that have sys tray icons too ? Re; Object dock - DX themes - Right Click Progam, etc. If its all the programs it sounds like the sdmcp.exe isn't activated. I'll just paste the directions that Super Wizop Koasati gave me long ago -
Directions:
This is an MCP problem.... look in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock .... place sdmcp.exe in your startup folder. (you can double click the file to start it, without a reboot, and your systray should work.)
sdmcp.exe
Further directions if needed:
Windows hides file extensions by default, Go to Tools > Folder Options > View tab...... un-tick "Hide extensions for known file types" > OK.
Open C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
Add a shortcut to sdmcp.exe there.
