I've been using WB 10 on Windows 10 Pro, for years now, with no issues.
Recently, I upgraded to WB 11.07 (still on Windows 10) to gain access to a new feature in that program.
However, I now am having an odd quirk when I run VLC Media Player... In the past, I could double-click on a video file (in Explorer), and it would open in VLC and just play normally. Since the upgrade to WB 11.07, though, its behavior has changed... the first time I play a video file, it just opens a small window that appears to simply the audio from the file. If I close VLC and then re-click the video file, it plays as expected... if I close it again, it reverts to the first window. This two-phase functioning occurs with any video file that I try to play.
Now, I *have* noted that if I add vlc.exe to the "Per application" list, and set it to "Ignore this application and do not skin it", then VLC operates as expected, so there is *some* kind of interaction between the two applications... while I *can* just live with this, I would *really* rather have VLC skinned normally!!
I'm hoping that there is something else that I can do in WB11, to avoid this issue??
I've looked through the other "Per application settings" options, and don't see anything that is obviously relevant, but perhaps folks here can help me out??
