I was going to try that alpha-prime, not that I really use IE much at all these days, but when I do it would be nice if it was a little faster. On dialup, you try to wring out every little bit you can. But I'm only slightly comfortable messing with the registry, and the instruction "On the
Edit menu, click
Add Value, and then add the following registry values:" has me baffled, because there's no such entry in my Edit menu.
I also find it amusing that MS states "Changing the maximum number of connections beyond two is a violation of Internet standards" .... since when is MS concerned with following internet standards? The main reason certain sites don't work correctly with non-IE browsers is because IE doesn't follow standards.
