this is what i am doing for my own computer as far as start menu what kind of startmenu would look good no i suck at this i don't have a artistic bone in body or can make anything on my own but like what you all can do just wish i had that tallent.

this is what i thought of just need a little point in right direction please

Hello,
Not sure what or how to advice. Only thing I think appropriate is to start with simple box frame first and progress to complex design when you know what you're doing. For me, personally, I still suck at it, even after 20++ years with it.    Good luck.

What i mean is do i go for a scifi look or does it really matter when you skin.

Go with what you feel.  It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.  It's your computer and a great way for you to personalize it and have fun with it.
