OK.
The next step is Rufus 3.19 Beta. This will now allow a user to NOT have to enter any MS account info to complete installation(so far this is only set if an offline install is used, sure this will change at some later point). Also adding the option to skip all Data Request options, setting all answers to Do Not Allow or Refuse.
I have always said unpopular MS changes will be reversed as that is the way of the world, but never realised Rufus would cover most of the Bases. My set up for now running 2 SSDs for Win 10 and two SSDs for Win 11 22H2 is complete, so i can not go through the process just yet and report back, but as my installations went flawlessly using the Rufus method, i have no reason to doubt this next step.
What are the odds MS will try to take over Rufus, i am sure it must have come up on there Radar, and set there Masterplan of pushing new Equipment coinciding with 22H2 full release later this year. As in all things, if this method falls another will pop right up to take it's place , in fact there are several ways already of dealing with MS HW Requirements, MS Account needed etc... Rufus has just put it all in a very easy to use Media Creation Tool.
Also starting to see more and more ReviOS editions of Windows 11 hitting the net, allowing users to close those Data stealing Backdoors and Performance issues as default.
Performance
"
Windows is notoriously known for its less-than-ideal performance, especially when compared to its predecessors.
ReviOS attempts to speed up the system, by eliminating redundant tasks and services running in the background, without sacrificing on stability.
Better yet, framerate stability is greatly improved, meaning your FPS is less prone to fluctuation."
Privacy
"
Microsoft's Windows operating system is infamous for its privacy-intrusive behaviour towards consumers, which is why ReviOS takes the privacy aspect into serious account.
A plethora of telemetry backdoors have been terminated including, but is not limited to: UWP/AppX Apps, Windows Update and Cortana.
Data collection and reporting increase the system load, and as a bonus, that too is severely reduced, hereby promoting performance.
Stability
"Based on a multi-layered approach, securing retained and comprehensive stability.
Reinforcing performance and privacy by stripping out bloatware that halts the system, and cutting down on the amount of components - resulting in reduced OS size.
ReviOS attempts to enhance what can be enhanced, leaving the subjective things to the user. A reliable, yet flexible baseline to build upon.
Add, modify and extend to your heart's content."
So far i have NO man hours invested in any ReviOS Edition of Windows, so for now, i am just reporting, this may change in the near future, if it does, i will report any findings here as usual.
