We have seen lot of articles in the both the forum and on the Net about Microsoft Doing Things We Do Not Agree with, these include.
Hardware Requirements For Windows 11 (Decent Computers Running Win 10 Being Told NO By MS )
Needing A MS Account To Complete Install Of Win 11 22H2 etc.. etc...
If you think your current Computer is good enough to Run Win 10 with no issues, Then it should Run Win 11 . This little Tutorial allows all who think there PC is not ready for the Scrap Heap, to install Win 11 and test it out long before those Hardware Requirements are actually needed.
What you will need.
Rufus 3.16 (not checked Later editions)
USB Storage Pen Drive
ISO of Windows 11.
Fire up Rufus with the usb pen drive plugged in.
Select your ISO of Win 11
Click Image Option and Select Extended Windows (This option Patches the installation so NO need for all the MS Requirements, Tpm, CPU, Ram etc..)
Select Partition Scheme depending on your Motherboard Type (MBR For Me)
Click Start.
When it is finished you will have a Windows 11 OS on the Usb Pen Drive, that by passes the HW Regs set by MS, and you are ready to install Windows 11 and give it a Go. You can install over your existing OS allowing you to roll back if you ,have any issues, or like me, use a spare low size SSD which had a backup of my earlier Win 11 21H2.
When going through the installation stages, you come to the part MS wants you to continue using a MS Account. You have two choices, Home or Organization, choose the second , click other options and click join a Domain, then you should have a Local Account with Full Admin Control.
Later fixes released include this in the initial set up (No MS Account) but i found it misses too many steps during installation and you have to set up things like Region and Keyboard later.
As this is a Feature update and due to the fact i use Themes, it will un patch UXTheme Patcher (not a bad thing i hear some of you saying)so if you used this before and are installing over the top of a earlier edition or build, to use themes again, you will need to use UXTheme again.
That is it peeps, anyone thinking there PC is up to the job of using Win 11 because it ran Win 10 without issue, it is now well within your grasp.
Do not get me wrong, MS and the HW Requirements will come into there own at some future point, but that is still some future point and i am sure we will see it coming through online articles and scene publications, allowing you to choose and not MS, Enjoy.
