Can someone help me find this Beatnik skin??

I saw a beatnik skin on artuproar.com called Lunar Base, and I would really like to download it. It wouldn't download from there. Keep getting file not found on server message and I can't seem to find it anywhere else. I tried pixtudio, which is where I think it started from but can't find it. If anyone out there can help I would sure appreciate it. Thanks.

Thanks, Morphium for trying. I have looked quite a bit too and can't seem to find it. Thought someone else might have better luck. I do know that I think it said on art uproar that at one time it was at pixtudio and done by treetog, but not totally sure on that. Oh, well maybe someone else will see this and have it and email it to me.

I tried the link but no go. It downloads, but when you try to unzip it, it says there is an error in the directory and that it's not a valid file. Tried it several times it just doesn't want to cooperate. Thanks alot Jafo for sending me the link though. I am starting to think this skin really doesn't want to be downloaded.

It was uploaded here in Jan, 2002....it's possible it's on one of the CD compilations....

If anyone has any luck let me know. My email is in my info, when you click on my name. But you all proably knew that already. I haven't been playing with WC that long so I still have trouble with some of this. Thanks everybody for helping though. I have look around alot for it and it's driving me nuts that I can't find it.

Also, Stumpy you mentioned the stardock chatroom for the email. But I haven't actually used that yet, so I am not sure what I would need to do find you.

Stumpy....'remaking' it will require treetog's permission....if you intend to distribute it to a third party....

I wondered about the permission thing to but wasn't sure how that worked. I only want to use it on my own computer. As I said I am new to alot of this so still learning what has to be done.

Oracle73.....Beatnik is a good place to start as it's quite simple.

I'll look through the CDs from Wincusto....and see if it's there....

Jafo....That would be great thanks. Beatnik is one I want to play with. Trying to the windowblinds skins, though is not that simple.

Yeah, But if I was to remake it and give it to you Oracle, then I would need permission.

dam dam dam daaaaahhhh.... Snowman to the rescue....

Yeah I've got the Beatnik skin(s) in question - two different versions actually, one 'small' and one 'big'.
But get in touch with tog first - if he's not able to 'provide' you with the skins, aks him if its ok that I mail it/them to you.
(or have him mail me for "verification")

Snowman....Thanks that would be great. You have definitely come to the rescue. I don't mind doing that but how do I go about getting in touch with treetog? I haven't been messing with WC that long so when it comes to this kind of thing I am little lost... If you wouldn't mind telling me how to do that I would appreciate. Thanks again.

I have send him the skin per e-mail. I am
the author of the skin. I did it with treetogs permission along with a Hoverdesk
theme and a quicknotes skin.
