Need help with start menu being too thin

Hi, I always see in other peoples pictures that they have a large start menu, but mine is always too small and doesn't look good, Any trick to make it wider? The skin in the pic is electrosexual by Vampothika. I don't want to add tiles cause some skins do not work with tiles. Thanks!

Isn't that original version of Electrosexual? Wasn't that one for Win7? I've found that the win7 or earlier skins have a smaller, skinnier start panel. Sometimes you can mess with those earlier skins in Skin Studio and make them wider but you have to be careful cause strange things can happen.

Also what version of Start are you using? 10 or 11?

I'm using 10 I think. Whatever one is included with objectdesktop for windows 10. I'm also getting beta updates. The Thing is I see the pictures people have of there start menu and it's wider then mine and its the same skin . Happens with most skins. Like you said the newer ones don't really have that issue. Unfortunatly Vampothikas skins and neons don't work well with some start 10 options to make the start menu wider.

if it try to use the newer version of electrosexual, it looks terrible and is all messed up. The explorer window is white when it should be black, also the preview pane at the bottom is supposed to be black, but mine is grey.

You can set the grid to have more columns to extend horizontally. Not sure if it will look nice on all theme.

Just an extra thought if your system DPI setting is less than 100% the start menu will be smaller if over 100% it will be larger . This may not be the case but have run into it alot through the years.
