i stated that i didnt want it to go to the logon screen just a in-screensaver password like a password protected screensaver or a alarmed one
I read that and guess I just didn't pay attention to it, sorry for that. Since I did mention it people trying to gain access to the computer still would not be able to get on unless that had the password, wouldn't make a difference what account they tried.
The other good thing is that you are not having to add another piece of software to accomplish what you want.
