Hello, everyone. Happy New Year to youse all! Here's a list of some of the problems I've been experiencing since purchasing a new computer within the last few weeks. I've always used Windows XP with all my Stardock products and usually don't have any problems to worry about. But that computer was getting somewhat long in the tooth and it was really time to get a new rig. So, the one I bought was a very powerful multimedia machine, running Windows Vista Home Premium as it's preloaded OS. I decided to give it a try anyway, even though I've always been a tad to the leary side when it comes to trusting Vista. But as I say, it's a brand new computer, with a 640 GB Sata HD, 3 GB worth of DDR2 RAM, a 2.4 GH clock and a ATI HD 3650 video card with 512 MB of onboard RAM. Here are some of the programs I'm having problems with: Bootskin Pro-: only shows a static image when the computer boots up and the image is definitely not what I selected as my bootskin. IconPackager-: It seems no matter which set of icons I choose to load and apply they will be replaced by Windows Vista's own icons without any intervention from me. In fact when I load My Computer and double click on some folders and files, you can actually see the Windows Vista icons streaming across each line until it replaces them all. Another problem and this is a killer. I actually purchased ObjectDock Plus the other day and it won't even load when Windows gives me this error message of "objectdock has closed due to there being a problem with the program" and that's all it says! Talk about a major pain in the hinnie! Don't know if Vista is fully to blame for this fiasco or maybe there's something I'm missing with my setups or something. Anyway, sorry for the long message, but any help would be appreciated.
