I'd have to say that, to me as an employer, it's a no-brainer.

Bush had NO Senate credentials and pitiful educational marks. But was handed the Governorship of Texas (by the Texas political machine) because he had failed miserably in every other job he has ever held.
Which, as it turns out, his poor marks and legendary failures were an EXCELLENT predictor of just how terrible a commander in chief he would turn out to be.
So if you voted for Bush, you can't use the experience argument against Obama. That would be hypocritical of you.
Regardless, it depends on the JOB! For President of the United States, I want the guy who is VERY intelligent, hard working, and can work with both sides of the aisle AND the American people to bring solutions to problems.
Feel free to hire McCain after the election if you so chose. He's going to be in need of a job come 2010.
