I'm not a tweaker. No, I don't mean that I don't snort meth. Wait, I DON'T snort meth. Bah, nevermind. What I mean is, I'm not one to fiddle with my OS a whole lot. I really couldn't give a shit most of the time. I like PCs over Macs because when I DO want to fiddle with something, I can. I'm sure you can with Macs, too, but I'm just used to the Windows tweaking - so no hate to or from the Macoholics, please.
Lately, I've seen here and there these references to something JU's host produces called ObjectDock. Finally the references were enough that I gave the sucker a try. And I'd seen enough commentary that I didn't even just do the trial. I bought the "plus" version straight away.
Man.
There's nothing on my desktop. Everything is organized and easy to find. I'm not sure what to say - I never thought it possible. And it's so easy to use that when I do download a new thingy, or I put some doc on my desktop, I can easily tuck it away where it goes without navigating through Windows explorer or a bunch of directory trees. Hell, I own a Mac, too, and my Mac desktop should look this clean!
Just another kudo to the program in a long line of many. It would take a LOT for me to post a blog about a software product. Well, this one is worth a lot.
