Also you can use this animated icon as a standalone effect !!
Have a try:
create a new dock in ObjectDockPlus > add a new "animated shortcut" in this case you have only to browse to the image (not to the shortcut)> leave the animated icon alone on the dock> now configure ODP:in the properties "positioning" choose top or bottom> in the properties "appearance" choose the largest icon size\ maximum magnified size
... what a surprise!
