Essencay, you could try this, I took it straight from the help files for IE
To reset Internet Explorer settings
If you installed another Web browser after installing Internet Explorer and Internet Tools, some of your Internet Explorer settings may have changed. You can reset your Internet Explorer settings to their original defaults, including your home page and search pages, and choice of default browser, without changing your other browser's settings.
On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
Click the Programs tab.
Click the Reset Web Settings button.
if that doesnt work you can also "Roll" back your version by going to *Add/remove programs and uninstalling..then go to windows update and reinstall..
I seem to remeber a feature in System properties that "Repaired" IE.I dont know if this is a feature of the "Plus" program or it was simply not programmed into the updated versions of IE..
Anyway, hope something helps,
Zero.
