Great patch list again, things seem to be really improving very quickly prior to official release date which is great.  Glad to hear in a different thread Godlike AI's are now colonizing properly, looking forward to seeing it in action.

Couple of quick questions - are cheat options turned off in the beta?  Typed in "cheat" in launch options but can't open command window in game which was working fine in 1.8.  I did a clean install in-between so not sure if forgotten something.  Also are the farmers and bureaucrats civ traits actually doing anything yet?  Thanks.

Got the game open and a long term issue I've been meaning to bring up occurred to me so here it goes...

I'm partially color blind, when I zoom out I can see the differences of the star colors on an unexplored map but only just, I have the biggest issue with purple stars I can't easily distinguish them from blue which is a big issue since purple stars have promethion and often amazing planets and blue doesn't.  I have to zoom in to really look at them and then might only be 90% correct and can miss some mistaking them for blue.

How about making the colors more distinguishable or better yet change the star icons as well.  Perhaps the dashes around the star could be different depending on how much light they produce/size something like that.

Looking good. Good to have more traits for variety purposes. I think Korath vs Festron would turn interesting.

Maybe they could add a "hover over" kind of tip for star colors.

Unfortunately, this is not fixed.  I never saw this issue before now because I took a break from the game for a bit.  My initial battles in 1.89 looked fine (except for all my ships being on fire and the health bars showing about 1/3 despite never having been in combat before).  Then I sent another ship into battle and it had a teensy tiny health bar.  Just FYI.

Quick edit: One other battle viewer thing: the initial battle you view with combat viewer after starting the game or after a reload autoplays and has bizarre camera angles.  But if you replay the battle, it looks normal.

MacsenLP's comments reminded me: can we change the color of either the manage or the upgrade button for planets?  Right now they're both green circles.

Hello,

I see that MP has now been added to GC4 Supernova.

I did create a custom civilization in a single player game.

When will custom civilizations be enabled in MP games?

Note this is on a new game started after the 9/25 update.

Maybe I'm missing something here but there doesn't seem to be any way to look up the bonuses you get from the civilization you picked?  Now that you can pick random civ as an option this seems like a pretty important thing to add to the game.  I am having to save my game and go to main menu and check the civ bonuses if I don't happen to know them and then reload my game, obviously not ideal.

This has been asked for for some time. I can only imagine they are working on it, as it seems pretty important - especially as you can gain traits throughout the game through events.

I just updated to 1.9 and started a new game.

Are planet generators and supply depots supposed to be available on the home world now? Before there was a glitch where they appeared while you moved the capital city, but now they just pop in after the first turn (perhaps after the first item is researched).
