Now seriously, tin foil hats aside,
I NEVER take off my tinfoil hat, not even in bed. No siree, I don't wan't government or it's agencies peering into my dreams. Nope, if they could see just some of what I dream about, it could result in men in black suits turning up on my doorstep.... and we don't want that, DO WE?
I don't think any of it would have gone public if this really was a sinister plot about two governments fighting for access to our routers.
Er, what about the: "let's do it in plain sight, right under their collective noses with complete transparency.... then they can't complain when some journalist uncovers our devious plot and exposes it." It was already public knowledge."
See, that's the thing, the majority of people don't even read articles like this, and if/when they do, they pay little or no attention to them... hence the FBI and etc so-say coming clean.
It's like the poster up in Mulder's office on The X-Files.... "Trust No-one".
