Just got home a few days ago from open heart surgery for a valve replacement after a heart attack. Did anyone get the license number of the truck that hit me? Just thinking about moving is painful.
I went in for what I thought was heartburn...then they sent me home...then 2 days later I was back in. They said my one valve was 50% calcified and running slow and needed a replacement. I chose cow! lol Anyway....I just feel like a truck hit me still. And on top of that they caused something fucked up in my left hand....an occlusion of sorts they said...I have to go see them soon about that now. When I hold my hand under warm water it feels like it's scalding. In the hospital the first and second fingers on my hand started turning blue....and I have no idea numb could be so painful. And a muscles or tendon on the forefinger now has some sort of lock on it. I can open and close it...but it's as though there is a spring on it....it snaps open and snaps closed.
I was just getting over the pain from the pacemaker...and was really getting ready to skins something...then this...so needless to say I won't be doing any skinning any time soon, Say hi to everyone on WC!

Hey guys! Thanks for all the well wishes. And your right Jafo...now I got still stuff all over the place...still... I can't believe all the crap I've had to go through lately. Went into the hospital with swollen feet and ankles and walked out with a pacemaker/defibrillator/game controller....then I go back in for heartburn and walk out with a cow valve and an urge to eat grass ( I know...smoking it is much better...or in brownies).
Well just before all this...I was looking into getting back to skinning. But after this last surgery it did something to my left hand and other parts of my left side. My first 2 fingers have become extremely sensitive, numb, and I had no idea numb could be so painful. If I let slightly hot water run over it feel like scalding water. They say it is due to an occlusion/blockage...which they hopefully will figure out. My left side...hand to shoulder and down my left side have been numb, tight for quite a few years now....but nothing like this. But I'm hoping it will be resolved.
The thing about surgeries...which I'm figuring out each time...is that they have no idea of the full outcomes/side effects. I guess it could have been worse.
Anyway...I feel like a truck hit me...still...and each time I cough scares the hell out of me thinking I'm gonna bust a stitch open or something. They gave me a cute heart shaped pillow in the hospital and all the nurses were signing it...now I know why...lol They say hold on tight when you cough...yeah...right.
But I hope soon this pain will pass and my hand will heal and I'll be able to do some more skins...Tom & Don have been giving me the motivation with each skin.

Thanks guys. Might be heading back in again. Healing ok from the surgery...but whatever they did to my hand is causing lots of problems now. I'll let you all know when I know something.
