Uploading icons

When uploading a new skin, your Skin file must also be submitted.

I always get this message that's in subtitle.I did everything correctly putted my created png icon in winzip and I made jpeg for preview.I choose objectdock icons category,uploaded and that message comes up wtf.?Am I missing something or what?

Your file could be too big.  Or your preview image could be too big size wise.  (not resolution, actual file size)

Nope,it just says that upload is complete and then again when uploading a skin your skin file also must be submitted...any clues.If somebody could write what sizes are acceptable for object dock icons and how did you zipp them exactly.Step By step uploading would be nice.

ive come accross that bug before. its just that, a bug, you might just have to wait awhile......

I've also had problems with uploading before
(a bit different but bugs are bugs...)
Try this: when you upload, change the URL from upload2 into upload and proceed as usual

I tryed with preview images from less than 50x50 and bigger like 1300x1500 no difference still the same message,did I do anything wrong.Just write how you do it exactly and I'll see the difference.

I'm not talking about your resolution (pixel by pixel size), like I stated in my original reply.  What size is it in regards to FILE SIZE.  i.e. how many KB, or MB?

Ok the preview image is 32kb and zip is 108 kb that's just one example.I tryed all that I tryed at least 10,they are all different size  so I doubt it's that.

Yes, that should not be a problem at all.  The only reason I asked is because I've had the same issue before and the reason for it was that the preview image was too big MB wise.  In both instances, bringing the quality of the image down, which in turn brought the file size down, solved the issue.

You may need to try uploading on the older upload page, however, I don't have a link to it.  Hopefully, somone will pop in that does.

thanks,I just did what zigboom said and it works I guess.I can't add tags but the important thing is I can upload

I just did what zigboom said and it look's like I can upload ,I can't add tags but what a hell

Vampothika - Tags are keywords associated with your skin. Enter them with a space between each tag. (eg. WindowBlinds blue bird) There is a maximum of 20 tags for each skin.

 

But never mind it all works now just fine it was a opera bug
