Nah Karen, they can hang around in about a foot or so of water I think , but we mainly have grey nurse sharks inland, they aren't really dangerous....well, unless you piss them off and they decide to eat you but they are usually calm, and will ignore you if you ignore them.. but we get all kinds of sharks, that's why I don't go in the ocean
It's actually dog's that are more at risk, sharks can smell them something fierce, so don't let your rover or spot go for a dip
