Jesus was very extreme so should you mock him as well? He said he was the ONLY way. Pretty extreme stuff I'd say wouldn't you?
You know darn well I don't reject hard Science Zoo. You know I reject the other sides's version of the evidence. We both have the same evidence, they have their explanation for it and we have ours. It's not about rejecting Science. It's about rejecting their version of the evidence. *sigh* How many times do I need to say this?

now this I don't really have a problem with. I agree with you to some extent. But please know that Bill Maher is NOT a friend of Christians or religion in general. He's actually pretty rabid about such things in my book.
When people take something way too seriously or way too far, then yes.
well how do you judge too seriously? Isn't that a matter of opinion? I mean if I go to church and read my bible daily does that mean I'm too serious? What does that mean? I'm serious about my faith but not to the point where I don't enjoy life and people of all faiths or no faiths.
I'm not mean spirited but spare the rod, spoil the child as they say. You should know from experience...your creationism and young earth stuff I view as completely illogical and I've provided a multitude of evidence to the contrary...I haven't started mocking you just yet, though.
First off you're taking the spare the rod thing way out of context. Let's not go there. Creationism and young earth may be illogical to you but not to countless others including me. I'm twice as old as you, have read much more than you and yet you're telling me that I'm illogical? Why? Because I don't believe in Evolution? That makes me illogical? You have NOT provided any evidence to the contrary. Remember I don't have problem with the evidence.
It just comes down to worldview Zoo. You have one worldview and I have another. Sometimes in a discussion we collide. Happens all the time. As long as we can discuss things rationally I'm ok with it.
