I'm going to scream if I hear "change" any more.  It's a marketing tactic, nothing else.  What exactly did McCain vote with Bush, why it is necessarily bad if true?  I see nobody has answered my question, what has Obama accomplished aside from running a good marketing ploy?

I'd rather have 4 more years of Bush, than another 4 of Carter. 

Well maybe somebody forgot to put it in his teleprompter.  He certainly can't claim to be an expert at much, because he hasn't done anything to be an expert.  Palin running a small town is still more experience and leadership than Obama can ever claim.

Surely you jest! What if someone's liking for a candidate is based on misinformation?   There must surely be a place for FACTS in all this on both sides!

If voters vote on facts, records, character, integrity, courage and leadership.... Mccain will be our next Commander in Chief

If they vote on speech delivering, marketing slogans, star power and fundraising... Obama will.

Anyone who doesn't see this, imo.. needs to examine it a little closer, think for themeselves not listen to talking points, radical blogs and elite media propaganda.

Please, someone PLEASE lets hear an aswer to ID's main question, instead of throwing inuendo around.. lets make some sense folks.

as for mccain's character and integrity, they've both been assissinated during this campaign. he's flip-flopped quite a bit in the last 3 years regarding numerous national issues and his personal beliefs. in 2000 and 2004, he was dead-set against negative campaigning and hated karl rove. this time around, he's the king of negativity with his campaign commercials. teaching kindergartners sex ed? come on, people! you know that isn't true. and the spanish languiage commercial criticizing obama for his voting record reagarding a key immigration bill.......it didn't mention the fact mccain voted the same way as obama and actually thanked obama publically for his vote. up until this campaign, mccain always said roe v wade should not be overturned. to appease the religious right, he's for overturning it now. which mccain are you voting for? remember, he was for it before he was against it.

i'm not saying obama will be a great president. nobody can say he will be. neither can anyone say mccain will be. this country can not continue down the same path it has been on the last 8 years. regardless of what anyone says, nobody knows how to be President until he/she is actually on the job.

i completely agree! how do we do that? we don't vote for the party currently in charge, especially since the man at the top of that party's ticket seems to think most things are fine and dandy and will continue a majority of the policies in effect now. the fundamentals of our economy are fine, right? we're in iraq for all the right reasons, right? bin laden's been dealt with, right? our standing in the world is as high as it's ever been, right? i'm sorry but we need different leadership and direction. mccain will not provide either. and if mccain does win the election, i'll pray for his health every single day!

the inability of the public to see beyond his phony games is responsible. The Dems had at best a 1 vote margain and Lieberman voted in a way his state would get the most pork it could. Congress alone can't do anything if they don't have the votes to override the incompetent bush's vetoes and Zu, you should know that. Just remember: If we screw up this time, no one says we'll be able to recover.

The truth hurts: We have been profligate in our spending, inadequate in our saving and greedy in our investing. A RADICAL overhaul is needed: Regulating Wall Street should have been done and it's OUR responsibility to demand from the pols what is best for this country.

Too long we have abrogated our responsibility. The people, WE the people get the government we deserve...for the better or worse.

Calling each other names will not help. Villifying and demonizing each other won't either. Palin is not ready. Palin is presenting false claims and false credentials and wasn't properly vetted by McCain who is known for his impulsiveness and her nomination was yet another "Gotcha!" because Obama didn't (and should have) nominated Hillary.

Let's face it: This election is too important not to participate in so whichever way you feel, vote.

I've endured plenty.  Not a POW though.  However, I don't use that as an excuse for anything.  When asked about how many houses him and his wife own, he somehow worked in that he was a POW.  WTF is that?  All I'm saying is people should stop using his experience as a POW for excuses.  Thank you WOM, that's all WOM.
