Hi,
No, I won't rant...so you can all calm down.
Discovered 3 more bugs in the latest beta of OD+ in the past few days.
1. I have a tab in a tabbed dock called "Tray" where all the stuff from system tray sits cozily. However, all of a sudden the tab's name disappeared. I had a look in dock's settings and everything is as it should be but the name is still not being displayed.
2. There's an app that comes with all Asus motherboards that basically sits in your system tray and when you hover the mouse over the icon a ballon tip pops up to tell you what performace mode the CPU is in and how much power it's consuming. The problem is that having that icon in a systray tab of a dock doesn't produce the same results. You actually have to click it to get the baloon tip and even then it pops up at the bottom of the screen but my tabbed dock is at the top. I have a feeling this has something to do with flyouts on mouseovers for weather docklets in a tabbed dock not working either. Either way, it's a bug because it doesn't reproduce the behaviour of systray correctly.
3. One of 2 icons that gets put in systray by default after installation of Norton Internet Security 2007 isn't being rendered at all in OD. It's still clickable but there's just no image at all for it.
P.S. Will email those to support later on with more info and screenshots sometime over the weekend. For the time being I wanted to share those bugs, because there's a chance someone might know something...
P.P.S The system is as follows Intel Q6600, Asus P9N-D, 2GB RAM, MSI GeForce 8800GT OC with latest stable nVidia WHQL drivers, Vista SP1
