This is using ObjectBar and Window blinds, latest version of both, I updated them earlier this week. Running WinXP SP1
I am using the "Flexx" WB skin currently.
My Object Bar is a bar at the top of my desktop (kinda like a mac) where I have drop down menus for folder or shortcuts to programs, etc. The ObjectBar is set to use the WindowBlinds skin. On the ObjectBar, I have most of mine set to "Icon and text", but some are just set to "text" as far as the actual hearder or whatever it's called goes (all actual popup menu items are text & icon).
Anyway, The default font color set in the Flexx WB skin is a shade of grey.
When ObjectBar uses the skin from WB, the bar turns grey. The SAME shade of grey as the fonts! This means that on my object bar I can see the icons, but NOT the text!
Now, when I click on one of the "headers" and the drop-down or popup menu appears, it too is skinned grey, but the font is white so I can see it fine. When I move my cursor over the header thing (I don't know what to call it, but think of a normal windows app where you have the "File" menu. The word "File" would be what I am referring to as the "header" and the drop down (open, save, save as, print, etc.) is what I am referring to as the drop down or pop up), the whole header gets highlighted in white and looks like an item on the start bar in visual appearance, so I can actually see & read it fine when I mouse over.
In the WB Skin in normal windows, the top window bar is white, so you can see that grey font fine.
So, short of changing the skin for the ObjectBar, what can I do to change the color of the font on the Object Bar?
I have looked through all of the WB and ObjectBar settings and not found anything (other than changing the type face which I do not want to do). I went to the PC's display properties a d tried to change it there, but WB takes over the display properties and I can no longer control the font color options anymore.
What can I do?
Thanks,
Alex F
