Bug with Logoffs on Windows 10, v1909

Here we go again, Microsoft screws things up again. Screenshot should explain.

Does it on all WB's when there are updates, even if the 3 tiles on left is not used.

What about moving the shutdown button arrow horizontal shift to the left about 20 pixels, or subtract 20 pixels from the current amount, just spit balling here?

Was going to try that Don, good idea.  Sad thing is, it may not solve the issue, and it forces a restriction on where you can place the logoffs now.

Was going to try that Don, good idea.  Sad thing is, it may not solve the issue, and it forces a restriction on where you can place the logoffs now.

Tried it Tom, it won't look good, especially if you want your image to be centered, if you're just using text only, it may not look too bad. After my Win 10 upgrade, it stretched my log off image like your's, so I made the adjustment (before rebooting) and it look good, but, after reboot, it was too far to the left (because it's not stretched out with the extra text), so with your imaged having to be centered, it won't work.....

Yes it will look normal if there are no updates, but before there was just a small indicator, now there are just words, screwing things up.

It was maybe the best skinnable OS, but Windows 10 is by far a superior OS. I used to miss the start menu, but nowadays I hardly ever use it.

I have taken a look at this and it seems to be a limitation of those themes.

The ones with an issue are using the shutdown button shift code to move the button a somewhat large distance.

If an update is now pending the button is longer as the text is longer.  On skins which don't use this or barely use it, there is no problem.  Things fit correctly.

The shifting logic was intended only for moving the button away from say a border on the left hand side, not to try to simulate things being centred.

The best solution we can offer is for it to also apply the left hand shift to the right hand side and if there is insufficient room then expand the right hand side.  Be aware that some themes may not like this but if they don't then they probably also don't work well with higher dpis.

Excuse me Neil, are you referring to putting the text alignment on "right alignment", cause right now, I have it set to OS  default, for text alignment?
