So I have this new PC and new Firewall software (CA ISS3) and I currently have the default high level of protection set. The only problem is that with these settings I can't see the medals with the posts.
There's two ways for me to deal with this. One is to set up an expert rule that can allow any particular set of protocols to/from a range of IP addresses. This is probably the most secure way to do this. But I'd need to know which protocol(s) and IP address range
to allow. I suppose I should be able to figure out the IP range as long as it's static, although I'm not quite sure how to do this. I have no clue whatsoever as to which protocol(s) to allow.
The other way is to change the default high level of protection for *all* sites (hopefully as minimally as possible) so that I can see the medals. There are a bunch of controls to allow this. The only thing is that I have no idea which one or more are necessary to change to allow displaying medals.
Here's a screen shot of the options I have. Anyone got a clue?

Actually, there's a third option which is to live without the medals, but I *like* the medals.
A fourth solution is to lower the protections to medium except I'm using a DSL hub to share files between computers in the "safe" zone so I'd prefer to keep the "restricted" zone (i.e. everything not local) as tight as possible.
[edit] Actually medium setting still doesn't display the medals. [/edit]
[edit] Actually even the low setting still doesn't display the medals. Only when I totally disable my firewall do I see the medals and that's a little too much to ask. [/edit]
