Background

Sorry to hear you are having issues. From what I know it is not possible to change AltTabby background. May I know which screenshot was you referring to?

To get the appearance in the screenshots on the AltTabby page at the Stardock website follow the directions in the image below.

You will need to turn Transparency effects on in the Windows Personalization > Colors settings.

basj its the images on your web site,i am using the  Carousel  mode on the images on the web site there seems to be a picture behind the  Carousel  where i just have a white screen,i jjust thought it would look better with picture behind the  Carousel  ,it just a little thing it does not effect Alt Tabby which i think is great,Thank You.

Did you try the settings I suggested in Reply #2?

pelaird yes i did but it seemed to make no difference this is me thinking a picture in the background would look nicer.Thanks

If you mean from here: https://www.stardock.com/products/alttabby/. I don't see it. I see screenshots with semi transparent AltTabby with blur applied showing the wallpaper itself in the background. I don't see any of the screenshot showing AltTabby has it own background. That is why, I asked. Perhaps, I missed it.

basj yes thats what i mean,i do not see any wallpaper just a full white or black screen,i just think it looks nicer with the wallpaper background,thank you.Robert

If you have the AltTabby settings as I described in Reply #2, and you have transparency effects turned on in the Windows settings, you should see something like this.

pelaird got it now,i had not turned on transparency effects on in windows setting,it looks a lot better now,thank you for your help.Robert
