Hi everyone,
I've been a long-time user of WindowBlinds and appreciate that the software continues to receive updates.
However, since upgrading to Windows 10, I've encountered an issue that might force me to disable WindowBlinds entirely.
When resizing a window to fill the screen (either top-to-bottom, side-to-side, or quarter of the screen), it doesn't extend all the way to the screen's edges. Instead, there’s a noticeable gap on all sides. This happens regardless of whether I resize by dragging the edges manually or by double-clicking the window edge.
Additionally, it seems like there’s an invisible "glow" or margin around windows—a band where the mouse pointer doesn’t register clicks. For example, if I try to click an icon partially visible beneath a window, the click doesn’t work. This band is about half the width of a desktop icon, which makes it quite intrusive.
Interestingly, windows that are excluded from WindowBlinds don’t have this issue. This problem occurs across multiple PCs, all running updated versions of Windows 10. I also use WindowFX, but I don't actively use its window management features. Changing WindowBlinds themes doesn't help. Disabling WindowBlinds completely resolves the issue, allowing windows to resize correctly to the edges and no band around.
Could this be a setting within the Stardock software? Or might it be a conflict with other tweaking software I use, such as 7+ Taskbar Tweaker, Winaero Tweaker, or ClassicShell?
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
