Last week I applied to QLink for a new phone. Its similar to the one I have from Life Link in that it has the same amount of minutes and texts. The differences though are many. The old one is a Kyocera, basically it has a small keyboard below a 2" by 1.5" screen. Easy to send text and make a call. The other one is an HTC phone, a third larger with a touch screen. It has auto-rotate and a camera, I can take pics! Easy to access the internet which the other one can't do but, and here's the rub, using the touch screen keyboard is a PITA. It took me more than fifteen minutes just to enter my password to log into the site, I kept hitting the wrong button. I guess it'll take a little getting used to. It has the Android OS, Google Chrome and fully updated. The best part...it didn't cost me a dime. I can however add minutes, up to 500 and text to unlimited. That will cost a few bucks but I won't need that. At any rate I got me a 'smart' phone. How smart remains to be seen. Upside to all this......I can take pics. Yay me. Ha ha ha ha
