Hello friendz
Everything was fine but for the last few days I am getting error while running my laptop. It shuts down itself and thereafter starts only for 20-30 secs and again shuts down. shut down is more like a power drop there is no log off screen.
As I start it, I can use it for few minutes but then it would power off. I would start it again , bootscreen will load but these are the errors that I get instead of log on screen :-
1. Before Log On Errors:
lsass.exe system error
A write operation was attempted to a volume after it was dismounted.
lsass.exe operation failed
The requested operation was unsuccessful.
lsass.exe xxxxxx
Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.
xxxxxx xxxxxx
Not enough virtual memory or paging file xxxxxx
xxxxxx means i could not read because it appeared for just 2 or 3 seconds.
At some times, display is also doscolored. Bootscreen seemed abnormally colored and disk check( that prompts after sudden shutdowns) appreared like a horizontal multicolored matix of bars and dots. I pressed power button to get rid off.
Also, at some times, log on screen looked like windows 2000 log on screen and there was following text : "Preparing network connections........"
2. After Log On Errors: frequency of occurence in brackets
After log on the was a green screen in varying tints without any icons for more than two mins. I had to press power button. (2)
I right click menu on desktop there were only four item refresh, paste, paste shortcut, properties : four were missing arronge icons by, graphics properties, graphics options, new. (1)
I cannot work for more time it would power off after getting hot. I got the dirts off just 3 months ago at service centre so there is no problem in ventilation I guess. The hottest parts are that of below onboard GMA 950 and cpu.
If I play any games (just to check, I don't play them), it will run very slow even it requires 128mb ram and 16 mb directx and slower then freeze and power off. The whole process takes less than 10 mins. (every time i checked).
Movies too won't run for too long.
What i guess is some fault with either onboard graphics or cpu or power cord, not certain that's why i asked. i google and found it might be a trojan horse. is there a hunter?
Specs:
Win XP SP2, Centrino 1.73Ghz, 945G/GM mobo, GMA 950, 2gb RAM
Looking for your kind help. Thank you very much
