I'll admit, last year I got into the trend of coming home and plopping down in front of the TV. It's so easy to do nothing and still be mildly entertained that it’s a common trap for a lot of people. Though, I’m sure NONE of them are WC members.

Of course, doing so lends you to become less active and social. Then the writer’s strike came. I first I went through a bit of withdrawal, wanting my favorite shows back. But, after a couple weeks, I was able to let go. I started reading, drawing, and visiting with friends. I talked to people I haven’t seen in two years. I played games I was just letting sit and collect dust. I even started going for walks. That was something I never did. I’m sorry that the writers have to go through this and I hope everything works out fine for them, but, I have to say, at least for me, I’m glad it happened.
