here in France current date format is Day Month Year and in US month day year it's ok isn't it.
No, no it's not bloody well o.k!!! First those cheeky darned Americans rebel and chuck tons of English tea in the harbour....then they go messing with the Queens English, Kings English (whoever was sitting on the royal potty at the time) They went and made it center when it's supposed to be centre, then they dropped the U out of honour to save on ink. Cheapskates.....
And as if that wasn't enough, then they went and changed the month and day around just to confuse the British regarding royal and governmental appointments, etc...."We told you it was 1. 5. 1826, it's not our fault if you're five months late."
Yeah, messing with an age old calendar like that.

Did you know at one stage they were going to make it eight days a week to get more out of their poor over-worked and underpaid workforce? Fortunately for their captive workforce, that was only until John, George, Paul and Ringo stepped in and said: "Eight days a week is ours, use it and we'll sue!!" So now, Americans everywhere only have to work six days a week, with one day off to go to church...thanks to the Beatles.
