Dock Tabs Need Help!!!

I am new at the dock thing....i really like it by the way, I want to know something...i downloaded a dock and it shows that it has tabs but when i loaded it by extracting the files to the background folder the tabs didnt show up. Did i install it right? and if so why aren't the tabs working?

Are you using the free or plus version. Only the Plus version supports tabs.
