Suggestions for Improving Fences – Long-Time User Feedback

Dear Stardock Team,

I have been using Fences for many years, and I have always appreciated this software and its ability to keep my desktop organized. As a long-time user, I would like to suggest several improvements that could make Fences even more convenient and efficient to use.

Here are my suggestions:

1.    1. Individual icon sizes for each Fence
Allow users to choose a different icon size for each Fence, rather than applying the same size to all groups.

2.    2. Remove the Google logo from generated icons
When using the “Cast” and “Create Shortcut” options in the settings for the current page, the generated icons can display a small Google logo. It would be useful to remove this logo from the icons.

3.    3. Magnetic alignment guides
When moving a Fence, display horizontal and vertical alignment guides, with a magnetic snapping function to make it easier to align one Fence with another.

4.    4. Vertical alignment of multiple Fences
Allow users to select several Fences and align them to the left, right, or center, using the first selected Fence as the reference.

5.    5. Horizontal alignment of multiple Fences
Allow users to select several Fences and align them to the top, bottom, or center, using the first selected Fence as the reference.

6.    6. Matching the width of multiple Fences
Allow users to select several Fences and set their width to match that of the first selected Fence.

I believe these improvements would make Fences easier to organize and would give users greater flexibility when managing their desktops.
