Fences on top of other open apps

Requested since 2018

I want to click or roll over Fence title bars and have them open over open apps. Without this Fences is essentially a burden, not an aide. A casual look at the Community shows it has been asked for as far back as 2018. If this is not added to Fences, I ask myself ,"Whey did I ever pay for this one star app?"

Please, someone from Stardock, promise this when this feature will be added. Other apps do it, so it MUST be possible.

Hello,
I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing difficulties. This question has come up many times, and from what I understand, the features you’re requesting aren’t possible. Fences is designed as a desktop manager, which means it operates strictly at the desktop level. It cannot remain visible on top of other open windows.

The Peek function was introduced to let Fences temporarily appear above open windows. During this, all windows on your desktop are essentially frozen in place. Please also note that Fences should not be compared to docks, as they serve different purposes and function in distinct ways.

Depends on which one you purchased. If you purchased the subs, then it is subs type. If you purchased the permanent license, then it is permanent license.

Anyone you purchased, I believe, you're entitle for refund request, just submit a ticket using the link below, choose refund. Include all information details. Remember to record down the ticket number for future reference if needed. Do not raise multiple ticket, that will make your ticket back to the end of the line. Send once and wait. Ticket will be answer by the order they send in.

Fences is a desktop icon organizer. The desktop is a surface that lives underneath all open windows. I’m wondering where the impression was made that it was something different.

I think it's a matter of people seeing what they want or need, and not knowing about the layers of what appears on the screen to be just one layer.
