disappearing shortcuts

AGAIN most of my fences are empty and all of the shortcuts i have set up are gone. But some fences still have their stuff. I just don't understand. It's a lot of work to set this up and then it disappears. I just purchased groupy. Is it going to be as unreliable as fences.

How do I get my money back

Sorry to hear you are having issues. This usually happen when you have turn on your Onedrive Desktop Sync. Which will do this. Please refer here: https://forums.stardock.com/501085/get;3785366.

i turned of onedrive desktop sync. But the link you sent me to said to MOVE the icons back to their original fences. WHERE ARE THEY? How do I Move them back? THe only way i know to do this is to recreated all of the shortcuts from scratch-that's a lot of work!

They most probably in your OneDrive folder. C:\Users\xxxxx\OneDrive\Desktop.

i put them all back before i looked at desktop folder-soi don't know

If it is gone, than something else must have moved or removed it off from your desktop area. Fences do not delete off items from your desktop area, unless you specifically ask it to. Try recreate some of those shortcuts and see if the issue still happening. Also, might need to check your system cleaner software that you have running in the background.
