Please ignore basq's reply as I think he may be confusing this with something else.
High dpi support is dependant on the theme, but the high dpi support is generally the same on Win7 8 and 10.
If high dpi images are not provided (and they rarely are), WB will upscale the images it has which naturally will be blurred as non integer sizes cannot be scaled any other way. This shouldn't be much of an issue as assuming the scaling factor is set correctly what should happen is the images are physically the same size, so it should look very similar to how it would look at that physical size on a 100% scaling display.
Yeah, just to be clear, I'm not complaining about a theme intended for 1080 blurring when the DPI resolution is higher, obviously I don't expect it to create resolution from nothing, I'm saying if I were to make a custom theme with a 4k resolution, would I be able to run it at 1080 with 125% DPI scaling without blurring, that sort of thing? Would it require intermediate resolutions, like something for 1440, etc.?
That's fine Neil, but adding images for dpi, has never been explained to me, nor have I seen any tutorial on said subject, If I knew/understood how the adding of dpi images to my skins, I may add them in future skins.
Yeah, that would be great if someone could explain exactly how to do it. I haven't been able to get this work successfully for anything other than 100%, 200%, etc.
