Need to know how to create an cursor

Does any one know how the hell to make a dam cursor? I've been look for about 8 days on Google and Yahoo search for a tutorial that explains how to create an animated cursor. All I get on Google is videos tutorials that's all in Spanish and bunch of places to download Cursor FX. I have it!!. What I need is to know how to make an animated cursor, lol. What do I need, and what do I need to do? I don't understand what I need to do to make a cursor spin, twirl, explode and so on. I don't understand the frames, Simple Animation, interval between frames, and the scripted animation. I'm using Window 7 and have Photoshop CS5. I'm loosing sleep over this. If anyone can help. I will really appreciate it. Thank you.

For some insane reason tuts in this place are under the heading articles,link below will get you started however you maybe required to own the bought version to make cursors i'm not sure the free one allows it & yes the link is to cursorxp non animated may as well start at tut #1,look for the link to tutorials directly below heading

Thank you so, so much for the reply. I really thought no one would. The link you gave me helped. But, I came to a snag. I did the step,The window changes to "save animation as". But how do I save it? As you put it. (in the same folder save it as Busy_ani). After the window changes to "save animation as". Where do I go to save it? The AniUtil version I'm using is 1.3.0.1 . Another question. In Photoshop are you creating the images with Windows, Animation? I was just about to call it quits. Now that you replied, and it started making a little bit of sense. It got me more anxious to learn how to make them. Boxxi, I won't forget your name and that's a sure thing. If there's any help you can give me. Please do. Hope to h

Thank you so much. I was having problems finding where to thank you, where you can see it. I'm new to this

post. I think I'm in the area now. That tutorial was very helpful. The only thing that is still a bit complicated is in Theme Editor in frames.

do I put the amount that I started with before I used the AniUtil? Also can you please help me understand how to make an exploding, spinning,

and turning effect.

Doesn't CS5 have animation built. Youtube has some good tutorials on animation and I think there might be one or two listed in the Tutorial section. In the search field up top type in Tutorials and have a look. Neone6 made a mini tutorial on how to animate an object. Also there are a few who know the ins and outs of making cursors. I suggest going to the cursor gallery and look for cursors made by theAVMAN, his animations are among the best.

I'm not actively engaged in skinning right now, and I don't come in here as often as I did, so I'm probably not the right person to assist you. I'm sure that if you ask some of the active skinners around here, they will help you further.......

I'm afraid I can't help you in the creation of animation effects, that comes down to individual skill in whatever graphics program you use. All I can tell you is that each little change that forms an animation, must be on it's own layer in photoshop, and when you have completed the animation, the number of layers that you end up with is the number of frames that you have to set in the cursor editing program.
