What I mean is...unchain it from my desktop! Stardock made it as a stand-alone application, why not give it some legs? What I'm talking about is U3 capabilities. I would love to load a theme onto a usb drive to :
A; Send to my mother, who is loathe to install anything on her computer. Her new PC is a top of the line Dell/20"LCD( for e-mail and Pogo?), this would blow her away!)
B;Same for our daughter, she uses a laptop at college and a PC at home.
C;Have my favorite loaded up just to show it off!
Paid themes would still have to be linked to a Stardock.net account, but that could be a small file installed on the "parent"computer for registration and back-up puposes.
All normal rules and account controls would still apply to help scuttle pirates.
Case in point, the recent download .com offering. If SanDisk was preloaded with Diamond , or the option was available,My Colors could be in MILLIONS of pockets within a month if it was promoted properly.
USB drives have dropped dramatically in price,to the point most of us can afford. A free demo would risk nothing to the consumer or Stardock, and would eleminate the clashes that occured between c|net vs Stardock software overwriting each other.(No install, remember)I realize that Stardock is busier than a one-legged man in an ass kickin' contest, but is this something that may at least be possible down the road? Thanks, A very happy customer. Stardock Rules!

P.S. The option to select what MC applies, visual style w/wo icons or wallpaper would be a plus ,imo. Some folks may want to keep their wp and changing the icons could confuse casual users. Let's see Hype-rdesk top that!
