This is super-fun. The human empire opens the game by offering me peace (with a glitched dialogue - then ends the turn demanding my surrender. So yes - it is possible to declare peace and war in the same turn. Super-awesome job, team!It is why my review states that this game always has one extra opponent; the many many bugs.
I would like to add how messed up diplomacy and approval is. There are events - and commands which can affect these - yet there is nothing to indicate if these effects are permanent or for a duration - and if so - how long?Still more of the many bugs we compete against. I would much rather have seen these fixed than the release of the megastructures or Tales update. Neither of those really add anything to the gameplay as the improvements only take effect late in the game - when they can no longer affect the outcome.
I echo your thoughts. It seems there a lot of bugs and other design things which don't ever get fixed. I haven't even bothered with the DLCs as no sense in buying new gizmos and gadgets if they will have the same bugs. Besides not getting around to fixing the non-sexy bugs and things, it seems whenever they "fix" one thing - some other aspect gets broken.
