I just started a new game under version 2.2.502920 that showed up this morning and I noticed that clicking on a star no longer displays a popup showing information about planets, resources, and asteroids associated with the star. Is that intentional or is that a bug?
I just started a new game and can confirm this. If it is intentional and not a bug, please put that info back into the game. It occasionally saves wasted time exploring a star system that doesn't have anything worth revealing.

I also used to click on the Star Name and rename it, for example, I would add '-23' to the star name, if it had a class 23 planet. I cannot do this any more.
I would add my feedback that this change should be reverted. Trying to make sure you uncovered every inch of the star radius to find everything is obnoxious. Not knowing if you have minor planets in your home star area is annoying. This change also makes the telescope power really weak as you have to make sure it clears a full stars radius to get full information so at best you can get 2 star systems worth of info in most cases and sometimes only 1.5.

Hey guys! So this was partly intentional to prevent an exploit of revealing the entire map, but the fact it won't display for stars you control is definitely an issue, and we are looking into it.
Not sure what you mean by control, but this is a QOL issue. We need that info to show for any star we've unmasked so we don't waste time trying to explore every hex around a star only to find out the system is a total dud. If we've visited the star I think this seems fair.
