Do you want to allow the following program....

Hello all,

 

I am getting the message:

"Do you want to allow the following program from Stardock to make changes to this computer?"

almost 10 times per hour... is there a way to prevent Fences from doing this all the time besides
turning off the UAC in Windows...

Hello,

I've learn that you need to turn on the Administrator's Privileges. Try this. Right Click on Fences Icon -> property -> Compatibility Tab -> "Settings" bottom check box "Run this program as an administrator" thick that.

I already did this... but it wouldnt solve the nagging UAC coming up

Could this be due to Windows 10?

I have windows 7 and windows 10 installed with Fences 3.0.8.1. But do not have such problem. Maybe you can try to purge and reinstall Fences following these steps : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

Thank you very much.. that seemed to have done the trick...

so far in the past 20 minutes... no UAC coming up anymore...!!!
