When I resize the browser window it gets locked-up completely. It only happens when I am in a Stardock forum using Firefox. The fix is ctl-alt-del to bring up the "Windows Security" dialog and then cancel that dialog.
Anyone else run into this?
I use Firefox exclusively and have had no such issue.
I just don't like how the forums' "quote" doesn't work on Safari (on my Mac), and how quick reply doesn't work in my iPod touch.
I am using 3.6 and it does not do it to me. What version are you using?

3.5.8
I'll upgrade to 3.6 but I doubt that will help.
Upgraded to 3.6. No change.
This seems to be more of an issue with your computer than the forums themselves. If you have the time, try uninstalling and re-installing Firefox, and possibly running an anti-virus and anti-spyware app to clean up your system. You never know when there's a rogue process going crazy on your system.
Bara
I have 3.6 on 3 machines and do not nor have I ever expierenced this problem using FF
Since it only affects Stardock, I can live with it.
Other strange behavior that might be related is the contant "Loading.." indicators: The progress bar on the lower right and the twirling "busy" animation on the page tab never goes away.
Agreed; browsers by design shouldn't have such issues. One of their major features is to try and encapsulate individual web pages away from the functioning of your computer to try and avoid issues like this. While it is still possible to lock them up (infinite loop javascript comes to mind), it should effect everyone, not just you. You likely have an issue on your own end to look at!
On the suggestion of Gunslingerbara #6, go to www.eset.com/onlinescan. It is free and it will find EVERYTHING! You have to pay to get it to clean it, but they tell you where the stuff is so you can manually delete it yourself. It found things that even MalwareBytes did not find.
Why would it only affect Stardock forums? Explain that one, I say!
Because it is home grown.
It may be javascript, flash, the ads, or pretty much anything that goes beyond a regular HTML page. But considering no one else has brought up this issue, I'm hesitant to say that it's related to the forums and not your computer. :-/
You could say no one else has complained. I almost said nothing because its easier to do nothing and live with it.
Please post some specs for the computer you are using with this problem.
