Abusive Comments

Abusive comments by one user on this art.

It is harassing for any human's religious/faith and also for skinner.
Never find this kind of language on other art communities like deviantart.
This is simple art like other.

I hope WC admins will be there to take necessary action.

Not sure if I'd call that abusive really...maybe inappropriate. Considering what happening right now in the world what did you expect? You have people on this site with sons and daughters in the military being killed by people claiming the same "Allah is Great" thing. Your kind of stirring up some bad feelings by posting something like that regardless of your religion or faith. Works both ways! Some will obviously be offended by your wall and find it just as abusive and you thought that comment was.

By posting that wallpaper you are inviting/ baiting people to make unnecessary comments. I wouldn't doubt it was on purpose. You simply cannot be that out of tune with the world.

If people just kept their religion to themselves, the human race might actually go somewhere. Religion has held us back in ways you can't imagine. It has kept poor and starving cultures hanging on by a thread in the name of god/profit.

......I dont even know what Allah means........

What about the Muslims who feel persecuted or oppressed by Christians? Can they make similar comments on Christmas or Easter wallpapers and get your support when the artist complains? What about all the atrocities that have been committed against people in the name of any God or religion? Do we just say 'what did you expect?' because this is the most current conflict?

Sigh.

As controversial as it may seem to some, it's a wallpaper. A work that took some time and should be seen as art. If you want to see it as an expression of faith, fine. It's the ignorant person who doesn't understand that faith or that others have perverted it that always seems to be the loudest and most noticed. The trouble comes when the the rest of the ignorant follow because they think they've found a leader. Hopefully, no one follows the commenter and more people from the community support the artist.

I'm glad it was posted. It really should be a reminder that are healthy expressions of faith among any religion.

Themerboy, the proper action is to PM a moderator/admin with your concerns.

Posting a thread like this can result in a less than desirable outcome.

Saying that for this other fits about right.
As for the response for your wallpaper. It looks like you live in fear.
If so remove it - the wallpaper that is.
Otherwise just live with the comments. That is all they are.
Once they break a rule then the admins can look into it. But it usually takes two to make this happen.

God, Yaweh,The Great Spirit, The Supreme Being,Allah,even Gia in some cultures There are so many names for the one we look to for guidance and hope . Each culture's main point of worship seems to have so much in common with the others , it is too bad we can't notice the similarities and become at peace with the thought that we share a like mind but call a different name.

My son is also in the service. I don't begrudge the faith, just the animosity in the name of that faith.

If there is a comment you want admins to look at, send them a PM or an email with the link. Do NOT post a thread about it. Often the discussion about an offensive comment can become FAR more offensive than the original comment that started everything.
We will not tolerate any comment, thread etc that denegrates anyone's religion. We will heavily moderate such comments.

I am closing this thread and dealing with the offending comment on the skin.

For those who thinking art post was wrong.
This is skins community to share your art with world.

This is not a question why i posted religious wallpaper.
Go to submit wallpaper you will find "Religion" Category and answer.

If anyone don't like any art it doesn't mean he got right to abuse it.

These type of comments shouldn't be allowed on any art.
