Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

Animated Start Button Problem

Issue in x64, not sure about x86

By Posted May 16, 2008 16:02:09

Hey guys,

I just applied the Sirus WB and noticed there was a problem with the start button whenever it is either clicked or hovered over. It seems to enjoy being above the taskbar rather than cerntered on it when the new feature to force the start button to always be centered is applied. This only seems to happen when the start button is animated.

Here's a pic of what I mean:

And my WB Info:

I know what that is. Uncheck the "I want to force the start button to be positions in the middle of all skins". In the WB config advance settings.

Oh I know, I was kind of wondering if other people had this issue.

i'm betting you have wb6 set to force the start menu to the middle of all skin. so you use a double-stacked taskbar? i do. i just applied Sirius and i'm seeing the same thing you are. not forcing the start button to the middle corrects things......for Sirius, anyway. i guess this is one Neil needs to work on. he'll have it corrected in short time, i'd bet. he usually does.
