making things transparent with skin studio help please

hey guys i posted a simialr post in the windowblinds forum but this is jsut incase people dont see that. im trying to make windows transparent such as web browers, my computer etc as well as applications such as bit torrent. the windowsblind skin i use has a transparent start menu bar so i know it can be done i jsut don't know how i'm abit knew to skin studio

open one up, take a look - pay attention to the type graphic and the transparency and translucency settings.

I've had a look at what you said before, spent about 2hours trying to implement that into making my windows transparent... but no success??? how is it done>

If you are talking about the window content ex...personality sec. or background for say my pics that is 1 sec. you can not apply trans to!hope this answers your question!
