Installed Deskscapes 2026 via OD, Changing animated background doesn't work

Very frustrating.  This is on a Windows 11 Pro, fully updated system.

I was able to set an animated background, but when I try to change it, it seems to grab a different animation and shows that.  From then on, I can't change anything

Sometimes, when going back to the main screen and back into the animation page, it seems to select a totally different animation.

Also, when looking at the list of effects, under Recent effects, initially it shows what I selected, but when I click on one of them (the Recent effects), it shows a static image which I had loaded as a test instead of what I'm trying to do.

I've tried stopping all Deskscape processes and restarting, but doesn't seem to help.

I have no idea what version of DeskScapes, other than it's DeskScapes 2026, installed today, 11/6/2026
