Windowblinds 11 Setup Crash?

So, I recently did a fresh re-install of Windows 10, to refresh system files that may have corrupted after a previous experiment, and one of the first things I did was re-download Windowblinds 11, except, for some odd reason unlike before, it now refuses to go past the "Seeking" screen right before the install finishes. I have no idea why this happens, and I've tried just about every solution available online, to no avail. If someone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. What have you tried? We need to know so we don't need to suggest any steps you have already done. Also, we need to know few more details.

  1. Windows 10 full version and OS Build number.
  2. Do you have antivirus or security software that have setting on HIPS such as ESET?

Thank you,

Hello, basj!! Thank you so much for reaching out!!

This is a quick rundown of things I've tried:
- Disabling Windows Shell Addons & any file explorer addons
- Re-downloading Windowblinds 11 several times, it always freezes & crashes on the "Seeking..." screen as I described every time. It wasn't like that on my other installs for some odd reason.

- Re-downloading & Repairing the Microsoft Edge Webview2 Runtime Application.

I do have Windows 10 Pro fully activated via an online digital key connected to my Microsoft account, my OS build number is 19045.3808, and I have all antivirus settings turned off, just in case. Still no dice.

If you have Windows 10 Pro, please do a Sandbox test and see if you still have same issue. https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1416396827/Testing+WindowBlinds+in+Sandbox. Try it and report back.

Perhaps there is something in your current system not working properly.

Please try the following:

-For Win8/10 Users: Open the Start Screen, and type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator' from below.

-Type: sfc /scannow

-Wait for the scan to complete (this can take several minutes)

If the SFC finds errors, but cannot fix them, please also run the following command in the same command prompt window:

dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

The above command should assist with replacing any damaged or problematic system files. Please note, however, since it may require restoring certain files, this process can take some time and you will need to be patient until it has completed.

Please let me know whether this resolves your problem or if you have any additional questions.
