Hello,
Sorry to hear you're running into this issue.
Just to clarify, a Folder Portal is essentially a direct view into the folder it is linked to. For example, if a Folder Portal Fence is linked to your Desktop folder, everything on your Desktop will also appear in that Portal Fence. Any files or folders added, removed, or modified in one location will be reflected in the other as well.
If this is not a Desktop Folder Portal, please let us know which folder the Portal is linked to.
If possible, please also share a short video of the issue. That would help us better understand the behavior you're seeing and determine what might be causing it.
Thank you.

The folder portal is linked to my local desktop. In the past the desktop icons were in the fence only. Now I see them twice, in the fence and outside the fences
No, from my years of experience with Fences. If your folder portal is link to your local desktop. It should appear the same on both, on your desktop and your Portal Fence that link to your desktop. But, what you can do is, if you wish it don't show up on your desktop, you just need to move all your desktop icons info a Fence and roll it up or send it to another Fences page. Also, setup Fences rules so that all new icons/shortcut/files come to desktop, get auto move into a Fence.

There is something going on. I have a folder linked to my local desktop and to a folder in onedrive. When I save a file to my local desktop it shows in the Desktop fence only. When I save to the folder on my onedrive it goes to the onedrive fence and a duplicate out side the fence.
Perhaps that is due to you have OneDrive Desktop sync turn on.
Thank you,

I don't now what happened. I deleted the folder in onedrive called desktop and created a new folder in onedrive with another name, Then copied the files to that folder. Then created a portal to that onedrive folder and now everything looks normal.
Great, glad you have solved it.
Thank you,
