PLEASE update IconPackager for Windows 11

I've been trying to find a good way to customize icons across Windows 11 because the default ones are really ugly and don't look good with my Windowblinds theme, and IconPackager is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. I make my own ICO files in IconLover and want to use them for everything, including folders, file types, apps, drives, and system icons.

The problem is that IconPackager seems really buggy on Windows 11. Whenever I apply an icon package, random icons disappear or revert back to the default ones. It's basically whack-a-mole trying to get everything to stay applied, and it's honestly really infuriating and I have to fiddle with it for like 30 minutes, and even then not all icons are replaced or randomly decide to brick themselves.

I noticed the software hasn't had a major update in almost a decade, so I'm wondering if there's any plan to update it for modern versions of Windows 11. Many software that isn't WB or S11 is completely buggy on Windows 11.

I've tried looking for alternatives, but most are either paid, lack features, or are so sketchy that I'm not comfortable installing them. IconPackager already has pretty much everything I want, so it's a shame that it doesn't seem to work reliably anymore.

I'd genuinely love to keep using it, and I'd even be happy just to know whether a compatibility update is planned. Please don't let this software die, it's such a useful and unique tool when it works properly! If it doesn't update anytime soon, can someone recommend me good, preferably free alternatives? Thanks. I made my own icons individually and I don't know how 7tsp or windhawk works that well.
